nadasound: Priere de Toucher

Approached by musician David Matthews of nadasound to concept and direct a music video for his song Priere de Toucher, director Brandon Windish’s first instinct was to shoot every visual as a practical in camera effect.  The result was this video which premiered to a packed house at the 2007 Gasparilla Film Festival.

Made on an extremely tight budget and filmed in three days, the shoot utilized the unique style of Bradenton artist Nancy Goodheart Matthews as a visual stepping stone and the seven stages of Buddhist death as a spiritual motif.

The title, translated from French, means Please Touch.
